About Pip
The expression of movement has always been a core element of Pip’s life, from dancing and choreographing to bobsleighing and hurdling. Her paintings represent a felt sense of motion both from her personal experience and the imagined experience of objects, plants, or animals. Fascinated about how movement fills a space, she depicts the kinaesthetic sense of different environments in her mixed media abstract pieces.

Pip studied Human Movement and Art at St Johns’ College York, specialising in dance and fabric design. She has continued painting, drawing, and working with clay throughout her life and arrived as an abstract expressionist in 2023.
